| Utilities -
The prices do not include utilities. The meters will be checked before and
after your stay and the exact amount consumed will be deducted from your damage
deposit. Telephone – A phone will be at your
disposal in the house. All local and long-distance phone calls made during
your time at the house will be at your charge. Local calls are not free in
France, unlike in North America.
Books & videos – We are leaving a selection of
English novels, guidebooks, and videos for your enjoyment while you are
staying. Please leave these at the house for other guests to enjoy.
Information Binder – We are leaving a binder full
of maps, restaurants and activity ideas, etc. so as to help you make the most of
your stay. Please leave this intact for the use of subsequent guests.
Damaged / Broken / Missing items – We reserve the
right to charge for any items which are damaged, broken, or go missing during
your stay at the house, and may charge over and above the 200 Euro damage
deposit.
Smoking – As a courtesy to others, there is a no
smoking policy inside all of the properties.
Keys – Instructions will be given on how to leave
the keys in the house when you leave. We reserve the right to charge for
replacement of lost sets of keys.
Arrival/Departure – One of the advantages of
renting the house is that there are no set arrival or departure times. The
only stipulation is that you must leave before midnight on your reserved date of
departure.
Clean-Up – When you arrive the property it will be be clean,
as will be the bed linens and towels. A house cleaner cleans between
guests, but the client is nevertheless asked to leave the property as tidy as
possible. There will be a washing machine at your disposal if you wish to
launder bed linens, towels, or clothes during your stay. Please leave 40 Euros
for the cleaning crew at the house upon departure.
Cancellation Policy- Our cancellation policy is as
follows:
- The reservation deposit remains non-refundable at all
times, but if we receive written notice of cancellation more than 30 days
before the date of arrival, you will owe us no further outstanding balance.
- There will be no refund of the balance if cancellation is
made by written notice or otherwise 30 days or less before the date of
arrival unless we are able to rent the house for this period, which we will make
every effort to do.
